Superpower Drone : Bhim

A research group designed India?s first indigenous superpower drone at IIT Kharagpur. The name of this drone is on the epic warrior Bhim from the Mahabharata.

Drone Bhim is specially created for emergency situations.

It can fly into a desaster or war zone and creat a seamless communication network for security forces or rescue personnel and even the common man. It has a battery backup of seven hours and can maintain long flight times.
The automated drone has an actual vision-based guidance with built-in intelligence. It can also drop emergency supplies using parachutes, Bhim is less than a metre in length and can create a Wi-Fi zone within a one KM radius.
