Magic Charge
Huawei has not announced yet, but its subsidiary Honor had already mentioned the load 40W a few weeks ago. Alongside the Magic 2 (a smartphone whose camera retracts into a drawer like the Find X), the brand has announced the "Magic Charge", a fast charge technology with characteristics still unknown. All we know is that a 40W charger should be provided with the phone.
While waiting for the launch of the Honor Magic 2 (not until December), Huawei could present its ultra-fast charging technology with its Mate 20 range on October 16th in London. If we rely on the habits of the brand, it would not be surprising that this "40W Super Charge" is reserved for a special edition of the Mate 20 as Porsche Edition. The manufacturer is regularly partnering with this "luxury" brand to launch new technologies, such as the fingerprint sensor under the screen last year, before generalizing them.
